To the members of the UCL ESG Society,

I am writing to nominate myself for the position of President. My journey with this society has been the defining aspect of my time at UCL, and I am eager to apply my experience and passion to lead us into our most impactful year yet.

Having served on the committee for the past two years, I possess a comprehensive understanding of how this society operates at every level. I began as an Executive last year, where I learned the importance of logistical precision and team cohesion in delivering successful events. I successfully secured partnerships with key industry players, ensuring we had the resources to host panels and networking events. Currently, I am the Head of Sponsorship.

My vision for the presidency is centered on "Actionable Impact." While awareness is crucial, I want to bridge the gap between theory and practice. I plan to:

  1. Expand Career Opportunities: Leverage my connections to host exclusive recruitment workshops with top-tier firms in sustainable finance and consulting.
  2. Launch Student Projects: Introduce student-led consulting teams to help local organizations improve their ESG metrics, giving members real-world experience.
  3. Strengthen Community: Foster a more inclusive environment through collaborative socials with other societies and inter-university ESG summits.

I am ready to work to ensure UCL ESG remains a leading voice for sustainable leadership on campus.
