Jaeyee Koh

Hi everyone. I am Jaeyee Koh a first year economics student. I am confident that I could enhance your volunteering experience with efficient budgeting as I can contribute to the society through my main two skills:

Responsibility

I am a good team player possessing strong responsibility and also I am organized which enable me to be a reliable person in any environment needing supports and have responsibilities to complete. Moreover, as in the end, I believe treasurer’s role is to ensure performance of the society, I would happily take not only responsibility of my role, but any jobs or roles required in the society.

Communication

I am a good communicator and a excellent listener opened to people. Treasurer’s work heavily involves communications within the society for efficient use of budget, and as I am a capable person to discuss for the best outcome, I believe my communication skill could futher affect to not only a well-run society but also to our mutual goal of having positive impact to society.

Sophie Cheung

I always find helping other people and the community very meaningful and rewarding, receiving lots of happiness from it. I used to go to the Oxford Food Hub, a food bank in Oxford, weekly for volunteering and I have previous experience of being a Vice President of a volunteering club in my old school, organising activities for disabled children.

Having a volunteering background and knowledge of running a society, I understand how important it is to make sure the society is running within the budget while giving out our greatest love and support to the needy.

I will issue the Society’s balance report termly and work closely with the other committee members in order to arrange the most meaningful and diverse volunteering opportunities for you. As a current second year Economics student and the treasurer of the Volunteering Society this year, I am confident that being a treasurer would be a perfect role for me at the Volunteering Society and hence I am running this post again. Please vote for me, Sophie Cheung. Thank you.
