Swimming Club: Welfare Officer

Hi everyone! I'm Isaac, a 4th year medical student standing to be your Welfare Officer next year.

In the last couple of years, I've been a part of the committee as both a Fitness Captain and then Vice President. You may have seen me around, running or swimming in sessions, and I've been a part of the work behind the scenes to keep the club running and developing. I'm hoping to take on a smaller role next year as Welfare Officer, but you'll still see me at training and socials, and hopefully I'll be able to offer a helping hand to the new committee as we prepare to hand over.

Welfare Officer is a vital role for the club to fill: we strive to be an inclusive and welcoming club, and it's a requirement that we have one in place. The Welfare Officer is there to handle any issues that come up with club members over the year, in total confidence if needed, but I also hope to be there to provide experienced and friendly face to new and returning swimmers. Come say hi at training if you're still around, and I'll see you all next year!
