Rare FM: Scheduling Manager

Rare FM has provided me with a platform to explore my musical interests and passion for radio. I have loved the opportunity to learn from other creators and have enjoyed engaging with their shows. But none of this would be possible without a schedule.

I believe that I could contribute greatly to the well-running of the society in this role. If elected, I would endeavour to complete the schedule as soon as possible so that we can be all get to creating the shows that we love as soon as possible.

I have the necessary radio experience required for this role. I've hosted a show on Rare FM for 2 years and a show on Bloomsbury Radio since Nov 2021 ('A Box of Music Chocolates') and am familiar with the necessary airing and scheduling considerations required by a station. I know how to work efficiently to create a smooth listening experience for our audience and a smooth broadcasting experience for Rare FM members. I was an assistant editor for the Law Soc this year (and am the upcoming Publications Officer), so I am very familiar with working within deadlines and managing a large workload upfront. I am confident in my abilities to generate a great schedule that works for Rare FM and for our members.
