Pi Media: Events Officer

I am an aspiring journalist, having written multiple articles for Pi Media's culture section and have just been studying abroad at McGill University where I was a staff writer for their student paper, 'The Bull and Bear.' In my second year at UCL, I was the Marketing and Communications Director for UCL Yoga and Meditation Society which earned me experience not only in social liaisons but also helping out with events, giving me appropriate experience for the Pi Media role. 

As an Events Officer, I will help to ensure the Pi Media can run helpful and social events ranging from guest speakers to social mixers in order to help members with their careers and feel integrated into the society.
