Nordic Society: Social Secretary

Hei! I’m Aino, a first year Arts and Sciences student and I would love to be your Social Secretary next year. As a Finnish person who has grown up in England, it’s always been very important for me to meet other Finnish and Nordic people and this society is the perfect way to do so!

This year, I have really enjoyed going to Nordic Society social events at the Nordic Bar, as well as the boat party and ABBA night with the other Nordic Societies! As your Social Secretary, I would make sure to organise even more fun socials all year round so that we can celebrate lots of different Nordic festivities. I want all the social events to be inclusive, and a welcoming place for everyone to meet other Nordic students, and anybody with an interest in the culture, so that we can all enjoy Nordic culture together! :)
