My current interest lies in the application of AI for ophthalmic diseases, which I am pursuing as an active researcher in an AI lab at Moorfield’s Eye Hospital. As a result, I am well-equipped to develop relevant and practical programming courses for real healthcare applications. With my iBSc in Mathematics and Computers, I will delve deeper into the core foundations of computer science and how they can be leveraged in healthcare, while giving me the flexibility to apply these concepts for Medtech events.

As the Technology Officer, I am committed to organizing inclusive and inspiring hackathons that foster collaboration, creativity, and innovation. I believe hackathons are a wonderful supplementation to healthcare education to unify AI and healthcare sciences. My goal is to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels to create novel solutions to pressing healthcare challenges.

As your Technology Officer, I pledge to:

  • Develop three comprehensive programming courses, aimed at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
  • Organize two large scale hackathon events to incentivise collaboration between computer science, mathematics, and healthcare undergraduates.
  • Pair up with other societies, such as Surgical Society and Medical Society, and industry partners, such as AWS, to present unique opportunities to our members.
  • Continuously seek thorough feedback from our society members to improve the quality of our programming courses and hackathon events.

With my passion for technology, programming, and
