Kinesis Magazine: Events Coordinator

Hey everyone! I am Madhumila Killamsetty, a 1st-year Msci Biological Sciences student.

After participating in the socials and publications at Kinesis and meeting people as passionate about life sciences as me, I realized that I wanted to be more involved in this society. Events serve as a perfect opportunity to socialize and meet people with similar interests. As the Events Coordinator, I would like to organize a wide range of events including but not limited to pub quizzes, movie nights, and picnics. Through social media, I plan on maintaining close contact with all the members of the society. I want to organize polls and let members choose what kinds of events they would like in the upcoming weeks. 

I was the events manager in my high school for a period of two years. This role required me to arrange various events like guest lectures and farewell parties. I was able to fulfill my role effortlessly and successfully with the help of my effective communication and leadership skills regardless of time constraints and added challenges due to the pandemic.
I believe the skills and experience I acquired during this time would be beneficial for this role.
