Kendo Club: Social and Welfare Secretary

Hi,

Kendo is an amazing martial art, great for honing your discipline and fitness. However, it also has a great social side! Kendo is not only the perfect way to relieve stress after a long day of dodging cyclists and sleeping in lectures but also a way to interact with different and interesting people while making friends. Long story short Kendo adds a great deal of variety into your life, variety is the spice of life. I hope to add as much variety and social opportunities as I can to help you live the best university life you can.

I’ve been at UCL since 2016, so a fair while (insert nervous laughter)….I’m not old >_<

But all that time has given me great insight into what UCL, and London have to offer. Mainly in terms of food but other things as well, but mainly food.

Being a university student for about 6 years means I understand the many troubles and problems that can come with being a student, and a lot of the resources available both in and outside of the University that may be of help for anyone in need; from financial help to medical needs. Or even if you just need someone to talk to. I believe this would put me in a good position as a welfare officer.

I hope you consider me as your Social and Welfare officer, it would be a great privilege.
