Jazz Society: Big Band Manager

My name is Amie and I would love to be your new Big Band manager. It has been a pleasure to be a part of Jazz society this year - some of my highlights have included performing in the Jazz Through the Eras show, the Charity showcase fundraiser and going to the Jam most weeks (for a bop). Despite playing the French Horn, I have continued to attend rehearsals since the start of this academic year, which only demonstrates how much I have enjoyed playing in and being a part of Big Band. Going forward, I would like to take the lead in introducing some great new pieces at rehearsals and to keep Big Band as fun and welcoming as it has been in my experience. With new jazz shows and perhaps a couple of Big Band focussed workshops along the way, my vision is to see another great year from Big Band - all of this kept possible by a few drinks after at the Huntley. I would also be open to any feedback or suggestions on how we could make Big Band even better next year.
