Jazz Society: Big Band Manager

Hi everyone, my name is Max and I would love to be your next Big Band manager!

Jazz soc played a very large role as part of my first year experience, and one of the best aspects was performing in the Big Band. There are so many great and talented players here at UCL and Big Band is place where all can be united at once.

Following on from the last year when we were missing a Big Band manager at the start of the year, I would like to ensure a smooth revival of the band after the summer break so that we are in a great position to sound like Goodwin Gordon’s Big Phat Band by the time we play in the Jazz concert in late November.

I would be delighted if I was voted in as Big Band manager, and I promise I would continue Big Band’s legacy through a year of relaxed, fun, social, and wonderful jazz.
