Japan Society: Careers Officer

Hello, my name is Riko and I am running for the position of career officer. 

About myself:

I am a third-year Psychology student, going into my fourth (postgraduate) year. I was born in Japan, but have been educated in the UK since I was 11. I am passionate about pursuing a career in Japan too, and I would like to create a supportive environment with you.

What I would like to achieve:

• Build stronger connections with recruiting agencies
• Create events, that are tailored to the needs of UCL students, together with recruiting agencies and HR teams
• Negotiate and maximise the selection benefits, to give UCL students a head start
• Connect students with companies that are especially interested in engaging with UCL students
• Share information clearly and speedily, through Instagram

My ultimate aim is to leverage the high regard that companies have for UCL students to help you succeed in your job hunts.
