Ben Evans

My manifesto is that my love for Ireland is very strong. I have inherited it from my mother who comes from county Tipperary. I have a huge interest in Irish culture especially in the traditional sports such as gaelic football and hurling. I have grown up watching my county Tipperary and club Loughmore-Castleiney. I even attended the 2019 All-Ireland hurling final, which Tipperary won. I've spent nearly all my Summers in Ireland, visiting family and friends, and love going there. My Irish roots are a great source of pride for me, hence why I would love to be on the committee.

Being the social secretary would be a great opportunity to make the Irish and Northern Irish society as successful as possible. Events would revolve around everything Irish including the Six Nations amongst other things, and not to forget the biggest of them all - St Patrick's Day. It would be great to get other members' ideas as well.

I'm very committed and determined and will serve the committee well. I'd love to be part of the committee and would work as hard as I could to make the Irish and Northern Irish society as fun and enjoyable as possible. Thank you.
