Candidates

Veronika Liutarevich

Dear members of the Investment Society,

My name is Veronika, and I am excited to put forth my candidacy for the position of Investment Fund Chairman. I believe that my experience of running a society (Physics society in college, AI society this year) and education background in finance control make me qualified for this role.

Throughout my academic journey, I have actively immersed myself in various finance-related activities, constantly expanding my knowledge and refining my skills. I have gained valuable experience through internships in analyzing markets, making informed investment decisions, and managing risk effectively.

If elected as Investment Fund Chairman, I will bring unwavering dedication and enthusiasm to the role. I am a firm believer in the power of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. By harnessing the collective expertise and diverse perspectives of our society members, we can create a dynamic investment portfolio that generates exceptional returns.

Rest assured, I am committed to upholding the highest ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in our investment strategies. Together, we will navigate the ever-evolving financial landscape, seizing opportunities and maximizing our potential.

I humbly ask for your vote as your Investment Fund Chairman. Thank you for your trust and support.

Sincerely,

Veronika

Zoe Gong

Hi everyone, my name is Zoe Gong, an incoming year 2 philosophy and economics student. During the past few years, I have accumulated rich experiences in asset management. I've interned at the finance and wealth management division of AIA, the largest publicly traded Asian insurance firm, and this prior experience significantly increased my knowledge of fund investing. I'm a really organised person, and I value efficiency as well. Therefore, from a technical standpoint, I am able and willing to administer the investment society's fund. I also had a lot of leadership experience. In order to participate in several financial tournaments, I organised several teams in high school and at UCL. As the team's leader, I place a great importance on cooperation, comfort, and effective communication. So, if I were to run for the position of investment fund chairman, I would undoubtedly make sure to maximise the effectiveness of our investment while preserving a nice working environment for our team members.
