International Relations Society: Social Events Director

Hi :) I am Matisse and I am applying for the position of Social Events Director at the International Relations Society. I went to several events this year organised by the IRS and I have realised that the role of an event manager is crucial for the proper functioning of this society. 

I want to ensure that every social event is organised properly and that they will be accessible for all the members of the society. In addition, I will make sure that speakers series, smaller diner events and events to discuss with leading academics will be organised. 

I have good organisational and decision-making skills and a passion for understanding and reading about international affairs. I was part of the central management committee to prepare my high school's MUN in Marseille in 2020. I also worked for 1 month at the French National Assembly and organised with the deputy "les questions parlementaires". 

I believe my position as a Social Events Director of the IRS will help to organise and ensure the proper operations of this society.
