Hockey Club (Women's): Media Secretary

Hi Everyone!

I would love the opportunity to be your media sec this year!

Hockey has become a great part of my uni experience this year and I am glad to be part of such a lovely club and team. I had the chance to get to know the club this year and would love to use my experience to develop and push the club with our social media.

As your Media Sec I want to make sure our all our gals are always being kept up to the date with the latest Hockey news within the Women’s Club across all different teams. I thought we could also introduce a monthly UCL Women’s Hockey Newsletter to go along with the goal of keeping all members up to date. The newsletter would allow us to share key hockey highlights and moments of the past month. As part of the newsletter any other members could also place announcements to inform all teams. I’d also want to aim for more INtegration between the Women’s Teams and between the Women's and Men’s Team through club competitions on Instagram for example to get as many gals involved as possible.  

I would make sure we are all looking fresh across our socials and show the wider UCL community what the Women’s Hockey club is up to. Finally I would also aim to use our platforms to promote Volunteering and Welfare to show the importance of these events and roles.
