Niharika Lal

Hi! I am Niharika, last years' consulting director of UCL 180DC, eager to bring the society to new heights as a Welfare Officer!

As the consulting director of UCL 180DC, I have 1) networked with professionals from the industry and secured high quality projects for consultants to work on 2) led case study workshops and competitions 3) secured 3 long-term clients for UCL 180DC. Through this and more, I have learnt to organise large-scale society events with attention to the society members' needs, expectations, and wellbeing.

As a Welfare Officer, I aim to continue raising the quality and scale of UCLHFS by interacting with current UCLHFS members and collaborating with UCLHFS alumni to introduce even more diverse discussions and unique networking opportunities for all of you.

It is no secret that UCLHFS is close to perfection, however, there is always room to achieve more - that is what I aim to do.

James Taylor

Hi all! My name is James and I am applying for the role of Welfare Officer. I am excited with the revival of the Hedge Fund Society and would love for the opportunity to play my part in ensuring its success.

My aims as Welfare Officer for HFS:

  • Making sure all members feel included regardless of their experiences and backgrounds.
  • Support members who are struggling with any issues and signpost them to the right people.
  • Supporting the committee and team as a whole!

Creating an inclusive and supportive environment is crucial for any society, and given the current transitionary state of HFS, I believe I can make the first steps in ensuring the society meets these expectations.
