Healthcare Management and Politics Society: Media Officer

I believe that both students and clinicians should be aware of and directly involved in policies that affect them. By getting involved in UCL HeMP, I hope to contribute to building an environment that encourages events and discussions about the political side of healthcare. Social media is an important part of promoting conversations with experienced speakers, and I believe I can design and create effective and informative posts that engage people with the events organised by the society. I held a position as Social Media Officer for RUMS Welfare Society in 2021/2022 and have gained important skills through this role, including learning how to design a social media post and communicating with online followers. In 2023/2024, I hope to use these skills to help UCL HeMP reach a large and diverse audience and promote the society on a university-wide level.
