Audric Chan

After being admin for the most successful and highest placing team UCL CSGO team, I would like to extend my duties further beyond only CSGO and be your President.
Looking ahead to next year, if I’m voted in, there will be many more in person events will be planned in partnership with the events officer, that being watch parties and LAN tournaments.
As a long time member of the UCL Gaming Society and an avid and varietal gamer, I think I would be the best President, knowing both the ins and outs of both the games and the society itself.

Moreover, it is my absolute ambition to work in esports in some capacity in my career, being voted in for this role would be a massive help.

Olivia Martinoli Issler

Hello beautiful humans!

I´m Liv, your current treasurer. I really want to make gaming soc more tight-knit, have even more events and work alongside all of you to ensure we deliver what the community wants to see!

I'll be working to incorporate your ideas, have more regular activities and hopefully make our standings in NSE and NUEL better!

This year I helped organise events, created the Beat Saber uni League (BSUL) and met brilliant people within the esports and gaming community. I want to share that with all of you in the society and hopefully bring the career side of things to our society as well.

I hope you consider me for this position. I can't wait to see you all next year regardless!

Ahmad Arefin

Hi everyone, my name is Ahmad Arefin (AKA The Gamexpert). I am currently a first year undergraduate History student, and I have an immense passion for video games. I love playing games from all genres and publishers, but I particularly love Nintendo games and I’m really looking forward to sinking time into Zelda Tears of the Kingdom over the summer. It would be an honour to be the UCL Gaming Society President, and I would really love to have the opportunity to represent and expand the society in new ways. I want to be an approachable and active member of the community, and support the other members of the committee in co-ordinating activities and events.

I appreciate that the society has a considerable emphasis on e-sports, and want to continue that by supporting and facilitating the teams we have for competitions like NSE and NUEL. I am also committed to making the society a welcoming environment for all members. I am open to collaborating with other societies in UCL and other university societies; I really want to see our community grow and reach more people. And even if I expect the role to be challenging, I will always be very open to feedback and advice.

In terms of changes with the society, I would love to organise events around game development for those interested (talks from industry professionals, game jams). I would also love for there to be more opportunities to meet in-person. Other than that, I feel my vision for the society aligns with the current leadership.
