Film and TV Society: Treasurer

I have really enjoyed being part of FilmSoc this past year and would like to help Barbara, and the rest of the new committee, make the society even better this year (couldn’t think of anything more cliche).

I have a year’s experience being the president of the Photography Society, so I believe I can bring the skills that I have developed over to the Film Society, including all the boring (but essential for the society to run smoothly) things like form filling (yay) and working with the SU.

Having been on multiple sets now in different roles, from BTS photography to DOP, I (hopefully) have a good idea of what a film production involves and will be able to provide the support required as treasurer.

Although I may be studying history at the moment, once upon a time I did maths at A-level (and I used to be quite good), so I think I am relatively qualified to be treasurer. I haven't really got any promises, except to not embezzle Film Society funds, so if that sounds like the kind of treasurer you want I would appreciate any votes.
