Kimberley Edmondston-Douse
Hey there. I'm Ley and I'm a first year politics and sociology student. Part of the reason I chose to come to UCL was my interest in Yugoslavian culture, something that can be explored academically at SSEES and socially at ex-yugo society. While I maybe not be from the region, I am trying to learn Serbo-Croatian and I have a lot of enthusiasm which I think could be put to good use here.
While it isn’t the most interesting role in the Ex-Yugo society committee, I would be very happy to do it as I would love to help promote ex-Yugoslavian culture. Funds can be used to help the society develop and hold wonderful events.
I think I am the person for the job as I am a very money conscious and frugal person. I have experience creating spreadsheets and working to a budget with excel. I will try my hardest to make the most of the annual membership fee by not having a penny wasted or unaccounted for.
I hope that you’ll trust me with the role of treasurer for the 2022-2023 year.
