Board Games Society: President

Hey everyone!  I am Harry Softley and I am running to be your BGS President for the second year in a row!

I have been with BGS since the start of my education at UCL and have almost two years of experience within its committee. Though hosting our events within the pandemic has not been easiest of tasks, the challenge allowed to me grow and develop all the skills necessary to effectively run the society and overcome all the obstacles along the way.

The best aspect of our society is the sense of community as both new and experienced members come together to try all sorts of tabletop games. Next academic year I will push for even more of what you love. I will make sure to continue our standard weekly activities, get plenty of new games, organise even more collaborations with companies and societies, and flesh out the weekend grand strategy events so everyone can get their fill of Twilight Imperium.

I have enjoyed the time spent as the president within the last year, and I hope I can continue organising events for everyone for the next year to come!
