I have been doing boxing on and off for the previous couple of years, but over the last 6 months I have begin to take it seriously, with UCL Boxing Squad. I am going to be competing in the upcoming intra-club competition. The discipline, confidence and excitement which this has given me is amazing and very transferable to other parts of my life. Hence, I would like to get more involved with the society. 

I have good knowledge about what makes an event good. I have been part of 25 societies this year and have enjoyed lots of balls, including the Martial Arts boats ball. I would love to hold more of these ball events, possibly meeting and collaborating with other boxing societies. I would also like to hold a couple more big boxing fight nights, maybe hiring out big venues like Scala. 

The current committee have done a fantastic job, and I would love to have the opportunity to continue their great work.
