TEDx Society: Welfare Officer

I would love the opportunity to join TEDxUCL as part of the Welfare team because I care strongly about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where members feel comfortable, included, and valued. I believe welfare is an important part of building a positive society experience and encouraging a strong sense of community.
Through my experience across different society committees, I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. As Welfare and Band Manager for the Indian Music Society, I worked closely with members during events and rehearsals, helping maintain a positive atmosphere and ensuring people felt supported and involved.

I have also been Head of Culture and Charity for TSOC, where I helped organise initiatives that brought students together through cultural and charitable activities, strengthening my understanding of inclusivity and community engagement. In addition, my role as Treasurer for Kalaripayattu has helped me develop responsibility and organisation while working within a committee environment.

I would be excited to contribute to TEDxUCL by helping create a friendly, approachable, and supportive environment for all members and participants.
