Gauri Ranjan

Hey! I'm Gauri, I am the current Treasurer of STAR and am entering my final year of History and Politics! Working with STAR this year has truly been one of my highlights. Being part of the committee and being able to organise projects like our first Run for Refugees fundraiser, Migrant Listening event with LSE and so much more has given me a great foundation to being able to effective lead and grow STAR this upcoming year.

I hope to expand community involvement this year, having such a vast and supportive membership base at STAR has been amazing and as president, I would find ways to incorporate more opportunities to come together as a group and hear your voices. This would include starting a STAR Rep program, for anyone who would like to contribute to our social media posts or raise awareness, and hosting monthly society lunches!

I am so incredibly proud of what STAR has become and would love to keep our momentum going as we have the ability to make such an impact both within our UCL community and beyond and support refugees and asylum seekers. If you have any questions or would like to have a chat please feel free to reach out to my email; [email protected]

Thank you so much for your time <3
