Rugby Club (Men's): 2nd XV Captain

The last 2 years in the liquid 2s have created some of the best moments I have had with the klub, and I believe now I can build off what the lads have brought this year to secure even greater heights and liquidity.

Specific things I believe I can bring to next year's 2s are:

• an even more competitive squad (by ensuring players want to show up for training and fight for a space, and those that don't will know people are waiting to prove themselves)
• stronger comms with individuals about how they can progress, where they stand on selections, game time, 1st prospects etc
• greater social involvement from 2s players to build stronger on-pitch connections/chem (whether its through the klub families or other means)
• try to get specialised 2s moves in the pack and backs that are maybe not as tailored to the 1s game, and instead tailored to the lower level of our league (i.e. more 2s joue)

I may have the chopping ability of a fresh (or worse), but I do luv the klub and want to build an even stronger showing for next year's season with a promotion and strong cup performance.

I would like to be 2nd team kaptain next year because I’ve really enjoyed being part of the squad this season and have seriously enjoyed getting to know the squad. We’ve had a successful year both on and off the pitch with both getting promoted and bringing home some silverware , and I’d love the opportunity to help continue that next season. I feel I know the team well, can help keep standards high, and would also be very present at socials bringing another layer for the 2s to thrive.
