Psychology and Education Society: Event Coordinator

Hey, I’m Carmella, a first-year Psychology with Education student, and I’m standing for Event Coordinator because I enjoy bringing people together and creating a good atmosphere where people feel comfortable and included. I like that PES is a mix of social, academic, and wellbeing-focused events, and I’d love to help make the society feel even more welcoming and engaging for everyone.

I also think events are one of the best ways for people to make friends and feel more connected to their course, especially at university, where things can feel overwhelming at times, so I’d love to help create that kind of environment within PES.
