Population Health Sciences Society: Vice-President

As a first-year Population Health Science student, PHS has been the highlight of my UCL journey where I found teamwork, connection, and a sense of belonging. Now, as your VP, I want to give that feeling back. I’ll make sure every voice is heard, every idea welcomed, and every member feels part of something bigger.

Socialising Beyond Academics

• Organise game nights, picnics, dinners, themed events, and trips
• Set up a buddies program and a society group chat to make everyone feel welcomed and supported
• Host casual catch-ups and coffee chats to share ideas and concerns

Expanding Opportunities & Networks

• Connect members with alumni, guest speakers, and professionals for mentorship and career insight
• Run workshops on essay writing, data analysis, and practical skills
• Collaborate with societies, universities, and charities for events, volunteering, and fundraising
• Make newsletters and emails engaging and informative

Building a Thriving Committee

• Brainstorm with committee members for fresh ideas and events
• Fight for perks like society merch and set clear goals to grow the society
• Lead with care so the committee feels supported, motivated, and fully involved
