Netball Club: BUCS Secretary

Hi everyone! I’m Caelyn, and I’d love to be your next BUCs Sec.

As someone who is responsible and organised, I've been lucky to get experience in continuing to fine-tune these skills. For instance, I was Deputy Head of Virtuosity, a charity fashion show that required me to coordinate with 70+ models, designers, and administrators, to get everyone to the right place. In this role, I helped organise the show rundown, ensure all the pieces were matched to the correct models, and clearly spreadsheeted everything that needed to be reimbursed. I learned to have the foresight to anticipate problems and getting details set in stone—booking locations early, supervisors confirmed, and being chronically online to deal with last minute issues.

I'll bring my logistics skills and preparedness to the role of BUCs sec, booking umpires for  matches well ahead of time, and checking in with them to confirm their attendance. Furthermore, my experience dealing with impromptu problems makes me well equipped to deal with issues on rainy days, communicating clearly to make adjustments and new arrangements if needed. I'd love to contribute my skills to the Netball community in this way, so I hope to have your vote!
