Minahil Hussain

Hi, I’m Minahil and I would love to be your head of production for this upcoming year!

Being a designer for the annual fashion show has deepened my love for MODO as it has shown me a sense of community that is so cherished, and also how the design process gave me an insight into what goes into producing a show. Seeing the full production and everyone's incredible work being showcased has inspired me to take on this role and ensure this is carried on.

Having been a part of MUN for 8 years and now directing debates, I have developed strong communication and leadership skills that I know will show in this role, especially in liaising with the head of design and head of modelling. I have also co-organised a community day event for families which attracted over 100 attendees, using social media to market the event.

As head of production, first and foremost I would make sure that members have their voices heard in how they want the annual fashion show to look like. I would ensure that everything is organised from finding the venue to organising lighting and sound. Being a part of MODO has been a highlight of being a fresher and I am so excited to contribute to making sure that MODO remains a creative, wholesome and fun environment for everyone to feel welcome in!

Rivi Cohen

Hi! My name is Rivi, and I've been a member of MODO since I first joined UCL in September. I will be the welfare officer for MODO next year (and will of course continue to write for MODO Mag and attend all our events!) but I would love to contribute even more. I would be super excited to take on the head of production role, and I think I am a strong candidate for the position!

I love fashion and organising events, and I have experience leading the organisation of a sustainable fashion show at my sixth form last year. My role involved co-ordinating our 16 designers, as well as performers and two professional speakers, food, lighting, and more. From this experience, I learned what it takes to run events, including the necessary communication and organisation skills. I thoroughly enjoyed running this show and would love to be able to be able to use my experience and skills for MODO's head of production role.

I attended and photographed this year's MODO fashion show, which was absolutely incredible. I would be so so excited to produce something that lives up to it next year!

Thank you for reading, and I hope you vote for me! :))

Rustam Mukhamedjanov

I genuinely believe I have the creativity, leadership, and organisational mindset needed to help MODO grow into an even stronger and more professionally executed society next year.

Production is the foundation of every successful fashion event. What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to bring creative ideas to life while also making sure every detail behind the scenes runs smoothly and efficiently!

Over the years, I’ve developed experience in creative direction, photography, cinematography, content production, and working within fast-paced teams. I’m someone who stays calm under pressure and genuinely enjoys solving problems rather than avoiding them :)

If elected, I want to help make MODO’s productions feel even more professional and creatively ambitious. I also want members to feel that their ideas are valued and that production is a collaborative process rather than just management from the top down.

Most importantly, I truly care about MODO’s future. I’m standing because I want to actively push our society's creative potential further, and help create experiences that leave a lasting impact on people both inside and outside of UCL.
