Tyoma Timofeev

As the Editor of UCL Law for All Blog this year, I have seen firsthand the potential this society has in making legal careers accessible to those of non-LLB backgrounds. A variety of efforts, such as insight days in firms, applications workshops and the commercial awareness newsletters have all aided me and others in navigating the complex world of legal work. I would now like to further contribute to the society in the role of treasurer.

As treasurer, I will be able to contribute to the operational side of UCL Law for All, having experience managing documents and finances during an internship as a legal assistant. Beyond operations, I would like to extend the reach of the society by liaising with guests from spheres tangential, but not necessarily within the remit, of traditional commercial law, allowing members to gain practical experience as a springboard into future career ambitions.
