Freestyle Dance Society: Events Officer

I’m standing for Events Officer because I believe events are one of the most important parts of building a strong and connected society. From socials to showcases and competitions, events create opportunities for members to bond, make memories, and feel more involved within the Freestyle community. I’d love the chance to help organise fun, inclusive, and memorable events that bring members together both inside and outside of dance like the Freestyle Jam event in Term of 2026.

I believe I’d be a great fit for the role because I’m organised, creative, and enthusiastic, and I enjoy working with others to plan things people will genuinely enjoy. If elected, I’d aim to help create a variety of events throughout the year that cater to everyone, whether that’s relaxed socials like pizza socials and more, collaborations with other societies, or bigger events that help strengthen Freestyle’s presence within UCL.

Most importantly, I’d bring reliability, positivity, and a genuine passion for the society. I’d love the opportunity to help make Freestyle an even more welcoming and enjoyable experience for all members throughout the year.
