European Horizons Society: Treasurer

I am standing for Treasurer of European Horizons Society because I want to play a more active role in helping the society grow and help organise engaging opportunities for members. I think the Treasurer role suits my skills well, as I am organised, reliable, and good at managing responsibilities effectively. Through my experience in various leadership roles in Sixth Form, I have been involved in discussions around budgeting and spending decisions, which helped me develop an understanding of financial responsibility and accountability. Working retail part-time alongside my studies has also strengthened these skills and also my time management and communication skills. If elected, I would focus on managing the society’s finances responsibly while also helping support more events, opportunities, and activities for members throughout the year.
