English Society: Marketing Officer

As marketing officer, I hope to improve outreach and raise awareness about the English society and its events in order to cultivate a greater sense of community within the English department. I want to make sure oncoming freshers feel that the English society is welcoming and has plenty to offer and that current students are aware of opportunities available to get more involved with the English department beyond lectures and seminars. Additionally, as I'm hoping to pursue a career in marketing, being the marketing officer for the English Society will allow me to build on my current skills within social media, advertisement and publicity as a foundation for my future.
