Manifesto: (Refined, high impact)
The Africa & West Asia Futures Society should not simply host discussions, it should become a leading student platform shaping how future leaders think about two of the most strategically important regions in the world.

As President, my focus will be clear:

First, intellectual seriousness. I will establish a programme of high-level events addressing health systems, technological transformation, conflict and reconstruction, and regional innovation moving the Society beyond surface-level engagement.

Second, external reach. I will build partnerships with academics, clinicians, and professionals to position the Society as outward-facing and relevant beyond UCL.

Third, a flagship identity. I will launch a defining initiative such as an annual conference or publication that gives the Society a lasting and recognised presence.

My aim is to build a Society that is not just active, but respected: a platform for students interested in policy, medicine, technology, and development to engage seriously with real-world challenges and future systems.
