Hi, I’m Nell and I’m excited to be running for welfare officer of SfGH! I’m a third year medical student and I’ve just finished intercalating in Global Health, so I have a strong interest in and passion for Global Health which I would love to bring to this role!
As the previous welfare officer for RUMS Badminton, I have experience in ensuring societies are safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces for everyone to engage with, and my time on various subcommittees has given me valuable experience collaborating with other students to run successful and engaging events.
Within this role I would love to continue with the amazing work UCL SfGH does, including initiatives such as the mentoring scheme, and ensuring the society continues to run insightful events that connect like-minded students as well as establish more opportunities for student advocacy and career networking.
