Rare FM: ??Head of Marketing and Sponsorship

Hi guys! My name is Olive, and I'm a second year English student. Since my first year at university I have grown to love Rare FM and what it brings to those who use it. As a presenter this year I have seen the energy and passion people bring into the studio, and so I want to expand Rare's reach to as far as it can grow! 

If I'm elected as Head of Marketing and Sponsorship I want to focus on some key things:

• Grow our online audience through our social media pages using show spotlights, presenter interviews and fun music content
• Create a Rare Newsletter to further promote shows, events, and UnCL with monthly themes and end of term highlights
• Secure sponsorships with venues, brands and local businesses for better equipment, events, merch and more outreach
• Build a campus presence - our previous head of M&S started some initiatives that I would carry on, such as pop-ups and posters
• And finally, get Rare into the Student Radio Awards
