Hi , my name is Maddie I’m a first year BA geographer entering my 2nd year in 2025

I am interested in standing for the position partly because of the degree I take but also because of my background 

I have grown up in the rural countryside and the peace and comfort I have felt in this feels to me like something that should be equalized between everyone . As a geographer I’m really interested in increasing access to amenities and green space for everyone, so through my work as a communications officer I can assure this 

I myself have my own public Instagram where I am a frequent poster and I enjoy to post environmental content and socially take part in different movements, such as collecting sponsorship for WWF sponsored runs etc. 

These reasons all contribute towards my passion for the position and I hope that this can be evident in my work :)
