Live Music Society: Secretary

Hey everyone, I’m Arhan, and I’m running to be your next LM Secretary!
I’ve been lucky enough to play in Rhapsody, RnBlooms, and House Band, which has shown what makes this society so special-- and where things could be smoother. Knowing how much effort goes into making gigs, rehearsals, and socials actually work, I’m excited to bring that experience into a role that helps keep it all running smoothly.

If elected, here’s what I’ll do:

• Clear communication: I’ll keep everyone updated on gigs, rehearsals, and events through regular emails, newsletters, and socials.
• Better access to info: I’ll create simple ways for committee members to revisit decisions and stay informed, like shared folders or pinned summaries, so no one’s stuck digging through old chats.
• Reliable support: I’ll be a consistent point of contact for committee members needing clarity on plans or deadlines, making sure no one’s left out of the loop.
• Up-to-date platforms: I’ll help maintain our online presence, making sure info is clear and cohesive across platforms, and work with Marketing to keep it all running smoothly.
• Stronger community: I want to make it easier to connect offstage too, through socials and collabs that bring people together beyond the music.

When I first joined, I felt instantly welcomed—and it’s been one of the best parts of my time at UCL. I want new members to have that same experience: to find their people, make great music, and be part of something fun, supportive, and loud.
