Immunology Society: Welfare Officer

Hey everyone! My name is Danilo and I am applying to be your Welfare Officer! I love immunology so much and am passionate about spreading awareness of vaccination and helping the world become more immune to diseases. Next year, I want to run more events ranging from discussions, film screenings, study socials, guest speakers and research-sharing to more relaxed socials such as quiz nights, SpeedFriendings, collabs, Tea and Cake Welfare Drop-Ins and more. I also aim to do more collabs with other societies, networks and universities, such as with UCL Sexpression to increase vaccination rates for mpox and HPV and other initiatives. I will always be here for all of our members and signpost and help whenever I can. Most of all, I want to ensure that the society is a very welcoming and kind place where members can make friends and enjoy their time at university. I have a lot of experience in leading societies and I strongly believe that this will help me in making this society flourish. I also have a lot of connections which will be useful in expanding the society's outreach.
