I want to be Welfare Officer because I know how hard it can be to look after yourself while balancing 1001 assessments (with only 3 DAPs!!), and I know it’s so important to have a place to be where everything feels a little bit easier. 

I’d love to be able to foster that environment as part of the Giving Voice society, whether that means having a cosy social, or by simply being approachable when you need extra support.
