Of course! Here’s the same version without the dashes and with a smooth, natural flow:
I’m running for Genetics Society Associate Officer because I genuinely love genetics. It’s something I’ve been passionate about since I was 14, when I did a project on cloning that completely fascinated me. Since then, I’ve gone deeper into the subject, including getting a distinction on a research project about epigenetics. I’ve attended several Genetics Society events, like the cancer symposium, and was genuinely impressed by how well-organised and engaging they were. It made me want to get involved and contribute to that standard.
I’m a strong team player and very reliable. In AIESEC, I helped grow OGX international partnerships from just 4 to 41, and I’m confident I can bring the same energy and organisation to the Genetics Society. I’ve learned to balance a lot, between studying biology, interning, working, and being academic rep , and I still give 100% to the things I care about. I’d love to support the committee, help organise events, and bring in fresh ideas.
Thank you for your time I would love to join and help make genetics more engaging and fulfill the needs of the members and help the society.
