Tara Macfarlane-Grieve

I joined this society because I believe its mission is so important. Research is a skill that will benefit all of us in the future. As a Global Humanitarian Studies student research is well integrated into my degree. Past modules have given me the opportunity to conduct my own research showing me the interdisciplinary nature of research.

I believe I am the ideal candidate for the role of Welfare and Events Officer. I am a very organised and social individual that loves to bring people together. I am committed to creating a supportive atmosphere in which we can share ideas and foster the development of our different passions with in the research sector. I have previous experience in organising events that leads me to believe I can contribute well to the growth and organisation of this society.

The research sector is so broad filled with a diverse range of ideas and passions. I would love the opportunity as welfare and events officer to assist in creating a space in which we, as students, can share our interest in the different aspects of research!!
