Connect.ed Society: President

I'm standing because I'm passionate about making research more accessible to all students. I was fortunate to take part in one of the society's research projects, and I want to help others access similar opportunities. Too often, students aren’t aware of what’s available or don’t know how to get involved. I want to change that by raising the profile of the research program, reaching out to more departments, and ensuring opportunities are communicated clearly and widely. I also believe it's important to focus on offering hands-on experience, helping students build confidence and skills through real research work, not just theory. I’d like to make sure that students from all backgrounds feel supported and able to engage with research, regardless of their prior experience or connections.
