Civil Engineering Society: Treasurer

I’m running for Treasurer because I want to take an active role in supporting the Civil Engineering Society and helping it grow. I’ve always enjoyed being part of student groups that bring people together, and I believe strong financial management is key to making those experiences possible.

During my undergraduate studies, I served as Vice President and Outreach Coordinator for the ASCE student chapter at my university. In that role, I helped plan events, lead fundraising efforts, and work with different teams to engage the civil engineering student community. That experience taught me how to manage budgets, communicate with sponsors, and ensure every pound spent had a real impact.

At UCL, I hope to bring those skills to the Civil Engineering Society by managing our budget responsibly, identifying new funding opportunities, and supporting various events. I care about making society welcoming, active, and well-organized, and I’d love the opportunity to contribute as Treasurer.
