Biotechnology has captivated me since the 8th grade. The intersection of biology and technology has always amazed me—how their integration can lead to life-saving innovations that shape the future of healthcare, sustainability, and beyond. This deep-rooted interest led me to pursue a degree in Biochemical Engineering. Being part of the UCL Biotechnology Society would not only be a continuation of this journey but also a unique and rewarding opportunity to contribute to a field I’ve been passionate about for so many years.
As someone who thrives in collaborative environments, I am eager to take an active role in organizing events and fostering a sense of community within the society. I believe my enthusiasm and dedication would help the committee expand its calendar of events, offering engaging experiences that spark curiosity and inspire others to explore biotechnology beyond the classroom. My goal is to support fellow students in discovering new dimensions of the field—whether through networking events, talks, or hands-on workshops—and to create opportunities for meaningful connections that can enhance both academic and personal growth.
