Behavioural Innovations Society: Events Director

Hi everyone! My name is Natasza, and I am currently a year 2 BSc Social Sciences student, and I'm excited to be running for the role of events director. My interest in behavioural science spiked thanks to BIS's seminars in my first year, and I would love to be involved in helping plan these events, and various others throughout the year, to help others learn more about the field of behavioural science and connect with like-minded people. Having been on the events committee in my highschool, I have developed skills in event planning, such as clear communication, organisation, and time management, so I am confident I would be able to help run BIS's events smoothly. Additionally, having served as Communications Director this past year, I’ve seen first-hand what makes a successful event - from planning and logistics to creative promotion. My goal would be to host a diverse range of events, from the existing seminars, to more frequent socials, and more hands-on events that would allow students to utilise and grow their behavioural science skillsets. 

I would love to continue being on committee next year, and help BIS grow on campus. I am confident I want to pursue behavioural science once I graduate, and would appreciate the opportunity to be involved in a society that reflects these interests.
