Basketball Club (Women's): Community Outreach Officer

Hi I’m Sadie, a member of the LUSL team and incoming 2nd year student!  I am running for outreach officer in the hopes of encouraging connections between those in UCLWB, and our immediate and extended community. My time with UCLWB has shown me how it truly is a team that embodies what it means to have community and while I would certainly work alongside the rest of the committee to ensure that this legacy continues, as outreach officer I would also aim to look beyond - whether that is proposing connections with UCLMB and other clubs to support certain initiatives, or potentially providing direct volunteer opportunities for UCLWB players to give back to the surrounding community! I would be happy to work alongside other committee, or even club, members to generate creative ideas for fundraising and ready to use my organization and planning skills to put these ideas into action!
