Hi Yogis! I’m Sim, a second-year Neuroscience student and I’m running to be your project manager for this academic year. Being a yoga instructor myself, I’ve always advocated for yoga as a practice open to all - regardless of how flexible you are!

The magic of yoga and meditation has been nothing but an uplifting force in my life since I began practising. Through being your project manager, I hope to spread the powers of yoga through the UCL community by enabling everyone to experience it for themselves. Above all, I hope to use this platform as a means to provide students with a safe space where everyone can belong - a family.

Complementing my love for yoga, I believe that my skill sets make me well-suited for the role of project manager. Past experiences such as managing a team within an NGO in Indonesia provides an example of my leadership, communication and organisation. As your interim project manager, I have started to work on several projects and once officially elected, I will be able to bring you all yoga merch, more events, and hopefully a yoga retreat!

Looking forward to the year ahead and it would be nothing but an honour for the opportunity to be your project manager!
