World History Society: General Secretary

Having been a member of the World History Society since its conception, I've experienced a sense of belonging within a community that encourages curiosity and the growth of historical knowledge. It is with great enthusiasm and admiration for the society's values that I desire to serve as the General Secretary.

During sixth form, I actively played a role in society events, leading many presentations on diversity and human rights. My adept time management, balancing both academic and extracurricular endeavours, equips me with the essential skills to prioritise and complete the responsibilities of the General Secretary role efficiently.

Having been an active member of societies before, I have gained insight into what makes events appealing and memorable. Through this role, I would love to hold more social events and collaborate with other societies to feed our historical interests and enhance our sense of community as members.

The current committee have pursued these commitments admirably and if given the chance, I would love to contribute to the continued success and development of the World History Society.
